Brad Pitt: I'll marry when everyone can - Yahoo! News

Why not, if that means he actually has to marry that freak, I'm for it. Let's let everybody marry everybody else and we're all just one big happy family.
Brad, I know that Angie's making you do all this human rights stuff just so you can tap that every night, but try to think about the words coming out of your mouth first off

Polygamist leader Warren Jeffs waives extradition, will face rape charges in Utah on CourtTV.com

Let's get this straight: if Warren Jeffs did what he did, he's a monster.

Despite what you feel about polygamy, there is no excuse for marrying 14-year-old girls to 30 or 40 year old men.  There certainly is no excuse to make said 14 year old girl go back to the "husband priest" and submit to whatever he tells you.

HBO featured a documentary on a polygamy, and I suspect that this issue, along with gay marraige, will come up more and more in our society as we go along.   We will have to have an intelligent, reasoned discussion regarding polygamy with both opponents and supporters on both sides with their own facts and figures.  That is clear.  Utah was bullied into banning polygamy, with Colorado being the clear winner in terms of land.

But proponents of polygamy would be wise not to use Warren Jeffs as their poster boy, much like fathers rights groups would be wise not to use Darren Mack as theirs.  Polygamy or monogamy, a marraige can and must only be entered into by agreeing and willing adult participants.  Putting children into this is sick, and cannot be tolerated in a modern civilization.

FindLaw's Writ - Cassel: The Demise of Conservatism, and The Rise of Authoritarianism A Review of John Dean's Conservatives Without Conscience

I think John Dean here would be better served if he mentioned the new conservatives, the libertarians, who are offering a message of hope for conservatives who want the government to stay out of people's lives and still bemoan the welfare state.
